Mushroom model-making

A glimpse into a hidden world

Reco-Brandt’s nature-identical mycological models open access to a world that is usually out of reach: the remarkable world of fungi. The exhibits reveal the aesthetic complexity, diversity and biological sophistication of these organisms in a form that is permanent.

For over 15 years, Reco-Brandt has been developing and producing highly precise mushroom models. Each piece is based on direct casts of original fruiting bodies, using a custom-developed analogue reproduction method. This process captures structures, surfaces, and color transitions in full three-dimensional detail, down to the microscopic level.

The result is a unique combination of advanced mould-making and refined craftsmanship. The models match their natural counterparts in form, color, and texture with indistinguishable accuracy. This makes Reco-Brandt fungus exhibits both visually convincing and scientifically reliable.

Our mushroom models are ideally suited for natural history exhibitions, museum collections, teaching, and research. Each piece is carefully tailored to the specific requirements of museums, universities, and research institutions.

Reco-Brandt stands for uncompromising quality, precision, and durability.

Each model is a window into a hidden world.
